Taunny remembered now why she didn't often visit Omniforge's Bastion. She had to take a boat out of Permafrost, like everyone else. which traveled to the other side of the continent to the harbor on Terian river. Had to wait for all the cargo from the boat to be loaded onto a train, during which Taunny was quite rude to everyone and yelled at them for being slow. It was true though that she probably could have gotten it done faster. But this wasn't her country and that wasn't her job, eventually she retired to a private cabin on the train. Still with things to complain about seeing as she couldn't write during most of the bumpy ride. At one point people may have seen a stream of papers flying down the side of the train as she dumped them out the window while the train was moving. Long trips like this one did not put her in a good mood. Usually she would have flown from just outside Permafrost. But there was an important item on the cargo today and Taunny didn't want anything to happen to it. Something that seemed all to likely with everyone panicking all the time from all the recent natural disasters.
As usual Taunny was wearing her signature white lab coat with a to small skirt and a top that looked like she might explode out of it. She never did look quite like she belonged. The glasses on her head where so meticulously cleaned that there might not have been any lenses in them. On the coat there was a number of pockets. None of which appeared to be full of anything, but they always seemed to have stuff in them.
Trying to pass the time, Taunny was examining the previously mentioned cargo. She had never let the item out of her possession. A Pokeball. Universal+ it seemed. There was no way she could let the Pokemon out while on the train. Even though she would have liked to get a few last minuet examinations done. This thought was beginning to frustrate Taunny again. The trains needed to be bigger so she could have more room to work. Still trying to forget, she leaned back and began playing on a glass flute. It was black. A beautiful melody flowed out. Though Taunnys face was not one of enjoyment or simple calm. It was clear that even now she was experimenting with something. The tune carried quite well. It could have perhaps be heard as the train pulled into its station at the Bastion.

As the train pulled in to the station, hissing and grinding to a halt, the doors open. The station is large and clean, but the only people around were soldiers and laborers swarming to the various cars to unload goods and cargo that was coming in. It was getting louder as machinery and more steam was being used. In fact, if this was an enclosed space, it would turn into a sauna! But no, this was a station or powerful machinery. And speaking of machinery, another loud noise filled the room. On the far wall opposite of the train, a large platform started to lower, and it was occupied by a small group of soldiers. When the platform came to a harsh landing, the soldiers parted and out came the Emperor. All became silent and the laborers began to bow.
He was fully clad in his armor. It looked heavy and bulky, but his motions didn't seem to be hindered in the slightest. He had Eon in hand, the mighty sword shimmering with a subtle purple glow from the blade. His cape had a glow to it as well, a small charge flowing through. With him was Canis, a large Houndoom that carried the same air of superiority as his master. They stepped off the platform, the soldiers followed. The laborers were muttering to each other, and to themselves. Be they words of praise or scorn, it wasn't long before the soldiers outside of Zolanius' escort put them back to work.

From her window Taunny could see the elevator come down. It was an interesting site, but she had already done allot of studying and testing with her own elevators. She had hoped that Emperor Zolanius would show up at the station and was happy that he had. That meant less of a distance to go to meet with him. Concerning though was the site of Canis. The Houndoom. The beautiful melody that Taunny had been playing cut off into the harsh tone that the Black flute was normally known for. The one that scared away Pokemon. Any in the area that had never been captured would flee from this noise. Even some that had been captured, though this was a site Taunny had yet to have the privilege of experiencing. She proceeded to yank the curtain on her cabin window closed and lock the door from the opposing side.
Did he know she was here? She hadn't exactly been expected, but not unexpected either. It seemed that Zolanius liked to take advantage of her fear of the demon Pokemon. He probably found it funny and amusing. But she would not be leaving the cabin until that beast was put away. Zolanious should know that already to. She would go home without delivering any of her product if that's what it took. The was a dreaded thought. Having to follow her cargo all the way back to Permafrost. Trying to calm herself Taunny began scribbling on a note paper. This one had several drawings of flutes on it. All with letters in the to coordinate there colors. She was making various notes under the one marked blk.

Zolanius' eyes caught the harsh pull of the curtain, and grinned gleefully. The escort started to laugh to themselves. It was just like what Zolanius had told them. Her fear of the beast was apparent, but they wasn't sure why. Canis wasn't amused. In fact, he didn't seem to notice the subtle chuckles. He heard a noise earlier, and was watching the train carefully. "Canis, I'm afraid you do not get to participate in this meeting." He pulled his arm out from behind his cape with a customized pokeball, almost worn from time. With a small whine, Canis was called back into the pokeball.
Zolanius raised his arm and pointed with the pokeball towards the window. A member of the escort walked over and tapped on the glass, hoping to catch her attention and point out that the Houndoom was gone. Zolanius put the ball back into his cape, and rested on his sword while it was digging into the ground. He really wasn't expecting her here, but he was hopeful when he heard that the next shipment of goods had arrived. His patience paid off with some cruel humor for his men. He enjoyed the company of fine women, and his sadistic tendencies didn't really make it easy for his company.~

By the time her window was being knocked on Taunny was already exiting the train. Upon hearing the laughing she knew Emperor Zolanius' game was over. She exited the train perfectly composed. A slightly disorganized stack of papers tucked in one arm. She made her way to Zolanius as if nothing had happened. With a slight head nod she offered him her other hand which contained a Pokeball.
"I had imagined you might want this delivered personally."
No formal greeting. No apology for showing up unexpectedly. They where equal as far as she was concerned. When he takes the ball she would turn around with a slight flourish of her lab coat and begin walking down the line of the train. Beginning to talk as if she was expected to be followed.
"As well I have included a few other items to be shipped. The usual stuff that your interested in. First I imagine you want to make sure the Pokemon is in good condition."
Taunny stops in front of a large crate that has its own car on the vehicle. A few taps on the thing and it opens up to revile a giant pool. The coloring suggests salt water. Taking a step to the side she gestures that Zolanious do the honors of releasing the Pokemon.

Zolanius takes the ball and stares at it. He expected this from the likes of her, antisocial to the core. A forbidden fruit that defends her body with emotional thorns. Good thing he was wearing gloves.~ He followed after her, watching the crate reveal a large tank of water. At least the tracks were smooth enough to keep the water inside. When she gestured towards the tank, Zolanius immediately knew what to do. He tossed the ball, and out came a beautiful and graceful Lapras appearing on the water. She was a female with a healthy blue color and a shell that was properly developed.
"This is quite impressive, something to expect from the lands of ice from which you rule." He walks up to her so he doesn't have to yell over the noise. "Are there any details that I should know about? Experience, illnesses, etc, etc?" He didn't mean to come off as rude, but it was in his nature to ask. He always made sure he had top-quality goods and Pokemon.

Taunny waved her free hand at his question. Of course she would not bring him anything defective. It was an insulting suggestion. Then again she was known to tamper with Pokemon before. There was one thing she could say about this one.
"She likes to have music played to her."
Without further explanation Taunny turned on her heels again and began walking to the next set of cargo. She knocked on this one again but only a small door on it opened. A chandler Pokemon hanging from the ceiling brightens up the hold to revile people. All of them are blindfolded and gagged. As well as some type of insect thread binding there hands behind there backs. There are three young women and a large man. The man looks like his face is recovering from a rough treatment from some time ago. Two of the women have huddled together in a corner, uniting in there moment of fear. The third woman is next to the door. She appears to have suffered a head wound. The opposite side of the door has a bit of blood on it as well.
"A usual shipment. Feel free to execute the man, he is useless. The recovery of the women will be up to you. I doubt this one is dead, but you never know."

Music. Right. That should be easy. After all, he had music players and entertainers always available at a moment's notice. Perhaps they will enjoy the same taste in music. Zolanius followed her again towards another bit of cargo. This one was a bit more interesting. As the light from the Pokemon lit up the "passengers," Zolanius' left brow raised at the site. New visitors! Always a pleasure. He examined each one, from the quiet woman with the head wound, the two whimpering girls in the corner and the large man. He couldn't help but be curious. He tapped his sword a couple times, signalling his escorts over to collect. They lined up, moving each prisoner one at a time. First was the large man. He was being guided by the arm, and presented before him. "What happened to this one, and why is he here?"
This was how it was going to go down. Depending on the reason for imprisonment, they would be judged accordingly. Different fates awaited, and perhaps mercy awaits this group.

Taunny impatiently began reading through some of her papers absentmindedly while answering the questions. "First and foremost he was poaching. He was also hopped up on coal when he was captured. By now he is probably done with his withdrawal. But the addiction is certainly still there." Poaching was the term for any kind of issues caused with the fire Pokemon in Permafrost. In this guys case he was fighting a slugma bare handed and demanding his change. Probably an induced halucination from taking coal. Zolanius didn't need to hear that part though. Taunny stacked her papers against the wall, not making them any less cluttered looking. She then took a knee next to the girl on the floor, probably showing much more up her skirt than most would be comfortable with though she didn't seem to notice at all, and checked her pulse. Yep still alive. "This one is charged for prostitution. Found her carpet farming the small area around the bad she had been handcuffed to." Not true actually. She was actually a scientist that got out of line and was being used to teach the other ones a lesson. coal had already been given to her to back up the story. "She bit off her toung during withdrawal. " another lie. It had been severed. Her memories had been eaten away by several Pokemon to assure she wouldn't spill any secrets. The head trauma was a lucky addition to the painted picture.

Zolanius took note of everything she was saying, and was a bit amused by what he heard. After the explanation about the large man and after she walked into the crate, Zolanius addressed his soldier. "This one goes straight for the mines. If he's any trouble there, its the tower." With a salute, the soldier escorted the man towards what appeared to be another train ready to leave. Perhaps towards the mines that were mentioned. Zola turned and saw clean into Taunny's skirt, but made no mention of it.
"If she bit off her tongue, why gag her? No matter. She goes to the tower until the hallucinations go away." On that note, another soldier came in and took her arm, carrying her away. Zolanius turned towards the two girls huddled in the corner. They obviously heard everything, but were they really aware of what was going on? Or where they were? Zolanius walked up to them and examined their trembling bodies. "And what of these two?"

"Gifts." That was the only explination offered. They where young pure girls. Perfect as servants. They actually still had a Pokemon each still on them. Really they where last minuet roundups. Zolanius always seemed to like these kinds of gifts. Taunny found it a little disgusting. Then again she liked having young attractive servants around to. Either way she moved on to the next cargo. Still expecting to be followed.
Another set of taps and this crate opened all the way as well. A giant painting was inside. It depicted a silhouette of a man standing in a barely lit cave. He was surrounded by hundreds of what appeared to be dead black disc Pokemon. Thr newly discovered Unown that no one knew much about yet. This was certainty a fable depiction. As it never actually happened.
"I unearthed this some time ago. But I no longer have room for it in my collection. I thought you might give it a home."

"Gifts, huh?" Zolanius smiled a little. He stabs Eon into the bottom of the crate, letting it stand on its own. He then held the chin of one of the "gifts" to examine her. With his free hand, he removes the lifts the blindfold and makes eye contact. She has that look of fear and vulnerability, something that was reflected back from Zolanius' eyes as opportunity. He lowered the blindfold and stood back up. With a lift of Eon, he gives another command. "Servant's Quarters!" He was answered with a "Sir!" The first one to actually respond. Two soldiers appeared and guided the girls out, the two of them whimpering from their gags.
Zolanius continued to follow Taunny to another crate. It revealed something that gave Zolanius an unfamiliar sense of fear. His eyes widened at the site of it, and he took a step back. What was it? What was it about this painting that had him so uneasy?
I thought you might give it a home.
"Yes... It is truly exquisite but... Where did you find this?"

"Where is not important. If you don't want it I can always see if somone else is interested." Even Taunny hadn't seen the site of where it was doug up at yet. Runni g a country kept her pretty busy. She didn't really have much time for all her research like she once did. For now Taunny knocked twice on the train. Several workers headed to each of the cars and began closing them. "Do we have any othe business today?"

"Yes... I'll keep this. Slaves!" Two laborers come running at the call. One seemed curious about the painting while the other was barely there, almost like he was a zombie. "Transport this painting to my study, and be careful. If I find so much as a scratch on it, there will be punishment."
"Y- yes my lord!" The two ran over to deal with the painting while Zolanius dealt with Taunny. She was cold, and already ready to leave. "Why the rush? You just got here, after all. You traveled across the entire continent! Stay for a few days, enjoy everything the empire has to offer.~ In fact, you can be my personal guest, if that suits you.~" It might be a bit obvious that the emperor was trying to get his groove on, but can you blame him?

She provides him with women then he hits on her? That was poor taste. Though she was slightly satisfied to know she was still of quality enough for the king. She considered the offer while shuffling though her papers again.
"I suppose I haven't seen what quarters you are offering for my self and ambassadors. I shall leave in the morning."
Taunny heads for the elevator. Intercepting one of her men on the way there. Another person in a lab coat. He looks confused with her decision to stay but leaves to inform the rest of the crew that she will not be accompanying them back. Taunny stops in the elevator, turns around, and awaits ascension.
