Zolanius suddenly found himself being taken by the arm towards the door. She obviously had no manners, touching royalty in such a manner without any sort of permission. He was beginning to regret the decision of letting her stay here.
But then something happened that might save him some trouble. Calin, one of his elite guards, had entered the embassy rather hastily, and immediately noticed the young girl. Hopefully he wouldn't jump to any rash conclusions. Zolanius knew that Calin could tell that something was up. "Guardian Calin..." He decided to stay formal. "It's a pleasure to see you. This..." He tilts his head to gesture towards Paige. "Is Ambassador Paige Leolli. She will be staying here as a representative of Permafrost."
This might be strange news, but Zolanius was still trying to wrap his head around it himself.

Bleh. Someone to ruin her good time. He was kinda cute though. Except he was sweaty. Lolli didn't like that. He was also looking at her funny. Didn't like that much either. She let out a small sigh. She was never going to get to go shopping at this rate. Hopefully the addressing of her title would change this guys, Calin as it where, feelings towards her. Lolli waved her little hand in greeting but didn't offer much else. Not even the awkward out of place handshake bow she had offered the emperor. For Lolli this was because she saw this man as her equal. So far at least. His title was yet to be heard. With another pull on the generals arm she tried to continue towards the door.
"Nice to meet you Mr. Calin. But the emperor and I where just headed out for a lunch date. I've been waiting to try some of the world renown cheeses here. So if you could just excuse us--"
Make way Lolli is on a mission.

As Calin stepped in some relief crept onto the emperor's face. Calin didn't show it on his face, but he was slightly excited that it seemed the emperor wanted him him. Zolanius followed up with a formal greeting, and saying ti was a pleasure to see him. Calin's face still didn't change from a blank slate. He then introduced the girl to Calin, and he looked at her in turn. She was the new ambassador from Permafrost. Finally his face broke from it's stone like state, not in surprise at her age, but into a pleasant smile.
Calin put his fist to his chest and bowed, this time just bending not going to one knee. "Oh, well excuse my rudeness for not addressing you too."
Next thing he knew the girl was pushing past him explaining how she and the Emperor were going out to lunch. Calin's face which was shrinking back to being blank, suddenly jumped to a surprised smile.
"Really? Well since the Emperor is going out, and I happen to be one of his guardians, how about I join you two today?"
Calin said with a smile. If he knew the emperor at all going on a lunch date with a girl was not on his priority list. Calin flashed probably the biggest(which isn't saying much) most convincing smile at the girl, that anyone had probably ever seen.

Calin wasn't helping now. But seeing him here did remind Zolanius of something important to be done. "Pardon me, Paige, there is something I must discuss with Calin." He pulled his arm away and begins conversation.
"Guardian, you're aware of the trade between us and Valena, yes? I have some plans that require delivery to the Imperator, if you would be so kind as to practice your skills in ambassadorship. In fact, the plans should be in the record area marked "CT." If you would be so kind, I would like you to take those plans and five masons to Imperator Arwen. He should be expecting you."
Not meaning to be rude to Paige, but this was important.

Well that wasn't very nice. How dare he be so rude as to cancel there date. And with not even a moments notice to. Well fine if he wanted to play Emperor she would play scientist. While the two discussed ambassador things, something she was sure to listen to while seemingly paying no attention, Lolli made her way to the dresser and began reaching under it in search for the orb. Of course the only way to do this was to get down on he elbows and knees and reach under it. Resulting in her as being bare in the air. Apparently she forgot to put underwear on when she got dressed earlier. She was also missing shoes, far less of a detail but she had just been planning to leave out into the desert of a city. A small bit of awkward stretching later and she pulled out the orb like a trophy. Holding it into the air and admiring it in the light again. Casting that plethora of colors all over the room.

The emperor called him over, which was somewhat strange. The emperor asked him in a slightly hushed tone if he knew of the trade between Omniforge and Vealena. This was a rhetorical question obviously, and Calin just gave a small nod of his head. The leader continued talking about making a delivery there, to practice his ambassador skills.
Again Calin gave a small nod of his head. It was quite common for guardians to be ambassadors. Calin wasn't really sure what to think. He became a Guardian thinking he would stick with the Emperor, and protect him, seeing how young he was with very little political training. This would be an interesting trial for him. Zolanius gave him his instructions. Calin took a step back, and bowed his head.
"It will be done." Calin turned to the ambassador who had just retrieved the ball from under the dresser, and was holding it in triumph. Calin bowed to her too. "I'm sorry I seem to have spoken to soon. I will not be able to join you this afternoon. I hope you have a great stay."
Calin flashed her another small smirk, and then left the room in a quick military pace.

Calin was quick to accept and prepare for the quest, and this pleased the emperor. Arwen should be pleased when Calin arrives. Zolanius just hopes that nothing happens that messes this up. As soon as he leaves, Zolanius turns to Paige, already staring at the stone again.
"I'm sorry, Paige, but its about that time. Imperial duties await me and I cannot keep my people waiting. Perhaps we can meet at a later time?"
He was trying his best to be polite, but if she didn't like it, she would have to just accept that she's here to stay unless Taunny calls her back.

"Fine...." Lolli said with an exasperated sigh sigh. She seemed to take that as the point of leaving and left to her bed where she plopped down and continued to examine the orb. She put no care into the fact she was wearing a dress. Though whatever you saw was kind of irrelevant now that you had seen everything. It as clear though that she had moved on with life.

She was definitely an odd choice for a diplomat. Zolanius hoped deep down that she was mature enough to not abuse her status here. The most merciful thing that would happen is deportation back to Permafrost, and a probable chance of banishment. But that shouldn't happen to anyone with common sense.
"Good day, Paige."
He walked out the door, eager to return to the palace and take care of whatever business was lining up in the halls. Upon his leave, a soldier in light armor passed him by with a box, followed by what appeared to be masons. They were there to install the new lock. A knock on the door and the box was left in front of the door, open with a somewhat large medallion inside, like a think badge with various notches and pegs. And a note was inside with the Imperial seal.
