Lance is, in lack of a better word, quite a cliché guy. The boy's personality matches the expression that's usually found in his eyes.. Calm with a hint of determination, seriousness, and 'coolness'. The boy is normally seen patient and it can sometimes take a long time for him to get angered or annoyed, depending on the case. Lance loves to get respect but he isn't the type to go all arrogant at all, in fact, he sometimes gives respect to those who surprise him. Also, he hates being called a 'kid', even though he is one, and especially dislikes getting teased. Those two factors are what easily annoys him to the point of him getting merciless. Lance, when angered, is basically portrayed as a little kid yelling out cuss words and making his pokemon attack other people.

History:

Lancelot was born in June 6, xxx(199?)6.. The number of the devil.. Yes, his family was that superstitious about things. Lance wasn't able to live a normal life, always going through tutors and all that junk. His parents wanted him to be smarter than the rest of the students at the trainer school. He was smart enough to graduate in the early age. Yet, he always felt like he had the want to battle. Not necessarily blood lust but the plain want to battle.

Once his family moved to the country of Megidova, a lot of things changed. Lance joined the country's military when he was eleven and worked his way up to a Captain. His strength, although weaker than that of a general's, proved superior amongst the rest of the other nights and ended up giving him a promotion. By the time he was thirteen, his starter Pokemon (a Sandshrew), evolved into a Sandslash and his reputation as the young, silent, merciless captain grew. Currently, he's just roaming the country, ready for everything.. Well, almost everything.
