Mightyena
Name: Nox
Type: Dark
Level: 20
Gender: Male
Ability: Quick feet
Personality: Nox is a loyal pokemon, having lived with his master his whole life, and is a bit too protective of Leander sometimes. He doesn't like cities, being more used to silently hunting along with Lee, and will be much more jumpy and paranoid within them. If he's not being protective of his trainer, however, Nox is very playful, his size and fierce appearance being rather deceptive.
This carries over during more playful battles, but there is also another side of him. During serious battle and while hunting, Nox is vicious but contained, with a demeanor reminiscent of a coiled spring, silent but with his predator's bloodlust quivering to be released. This intense state of focus is not yet perfect, having taken years of training just to get to it's current point.
Held Item: n/a
Notes: While Nox is plenty big enough yet to ride on, Leander prefers to have him carry most of the gear, and is usually fine with walking on his own. As such, Nox wears a simple harness with gear bags attached that can be easily shrugged off after it's buckle is released.
Offensive moves:
Bite
tackle
Fire Fang(egg move)
<that's literally all he can learn by level twenty. I'll just deal with it until I can get a TM later>
Support moves:
Odor Sleuth
Sand attack
Magnemite
Name: Quirk
Type: electric/steel
Level: 20
Gender: genderless
Ability: Sturdy
Personality: Quirk is a very innocent and curious pokemon. It seems to be able to sense electricity, and is often particularly attracted to other electric-types. It has shown signs of an adult-like level of intelligence, but only after having sustained large amounts of damage. Unlike Nox, quirk actually loves cities, and has been known to wander away from Lee while in their midst. Having learned Thunder, it's most powerful move by far, via TM, Quirk is largely unaware of it's own true power, and has been known to accidentally use too much on occasion.
In battle, Quirk is always playful, using it's ability to levitate in order to tease it's often-paralyzed or confused opponent. After sustaining enough damage, however, Quirk will get more serious about it.
Held Item: none
notes: Quirk's curious nature occasionally drives Leander to tie a leash around one of it's magnet-like appendages.
offensive moves:
Thundershock
Sonicboom
tackle
thunder(TM move)
Support moves:
Thunder Wave
Supersonic
Pidgeotto
Name: Rebel
Type: normal/flying
Level: 20
Gender: female
Ability: Keen eye
Personality: Rebel, like her name suggests, is Leander's least cooperative Pokemon. She does not respect her trainer, and as such will often disobey him, refusing to fight for the teen altogether. What her trainer does not know is that Rebel is very honorable, and holds herself by an honor code, much like most Charizards. The reason she refuses to obey or fight for the teenager is because she doesn't feel that he beat her in a fair fight(he didn't, it was total luck), and will not respect him until he does. Unfortunately, Leander doesn't know much about bird pokemon and has no idea of this.
Held Item: none
Notes: Because of her disrespect, Rebel is the only Pokemon Lee keeps in the pokeball, and will not use in battle.
Offensive Moves:
Gust
Tackle
Quick Attack
Brave Bird(Egg Move: She will not use it for Leander until her loyalty is earned)
Support moves:
Sand Attack
Whirlwing
