Colors swirled around the sky, darkening everything around in shades of gray, blue, and violet. Water drops fell from the sky, lightly at first, but eventually growing into torrents. Lexika smiled to the growing clouds and lifted her face to the cool rain. Beside her however, Kishi whined softly. Looking down Lexika's golden eyes laughed. "Alright scaredy-skitty, we'll g get dry." Obviously happy about this arrangement, the burly Mightyena leaped forward, wagging his tail in satisfaction. He stopped in front of a small tavern, and with a wcked grin she bent down and ruffled Kishi's head "You crazy dog. You know you're not allowed ale right?" she questioned. His ears dropped lightly, but he panted anyway.
Opening the door, Kishi shook himself free of rain, while Lexika hung her coat up to dry. Wearing nothing more than a pair of tight black pants and a loose-fitting gray blouse, some of the members in the tavern gave her odd looks. She could only hope no one would recognize her.
Sidling up to the bar with Kishi, she sat on a stool requesting an ale and some lemonade for Kishi. Looking a bit dissatisfied with her choice in drink for him, he laid down with a bit of a humph. With a small chuckle, she thanks the man for the ale and lemonade, laying $50 on the counter. Placing the bowl on lemonade down for Kishi, she stared into space for a while, pondering the storm brewing in her mind.
She hadn't had a Hit in a week, and funds were low. She needed something, any job would do. Just something for food money. Kishi, Aedan and Sirius all were in need of good food. She could live without it. As a bounty hunter she was used to hunger, but for her pokemon...it was unacceptable. She sipped the ale contentedly, resting her head against the bar table. "What am i going to do..." she mumbled. (WARNING: i don't usually post this much, but the storm outside gave me good motivation)

Arwen stumbled into the bar, wet from the rain, although he didn't mind it, he actually preferred it. After an interesting visit home, he decided that a trip to Ardhana was necessary for awhile, but then he got caught in the storm and decided he needed to step in for some shelter. He saw the place was fairly empty, so he let all his Pokemon out of their balls for some well-deserved and needed fresh air.
He walked to the bar and asked for water and some nectar, along with a small glass of milk. He smiled at the woman next to him, Arwen really didn't smile for any other reason than he had no other idea how to react. He wondered if it showed obviously as he gave drinks to all of his Pokemon.

Lex looked to the man next to her and offered a small smile in return. Typically, she wasn't fond of people. The lied, cheated, and always seemed greedy. Not that she had room to talk. But with the storm outside, she was in a better mood than usual.
Looking down at his pokemon she laughed. She could see a Munchlax happily eating, and she couldn't help but laugh. Munchlax always amused her for some reason. Meanwhile, Kishi stood up, sniffing the Ditto the young man had let out. "Kishi, heel. Or be nice, pick one." she commanded. Kishi gave her a look of 'Oh, like i would do that.'
Figuring the best, she decided to let out her remaining two pokeom. Aedan the Houndour, and Sirius the Electrike. Sirius was by Kishi in an instant, helping sniff out the Ditto. "Guys, c'mon." she scolded. Kishi came back, lying down, while Aedan glared around and skulked to the corner. Meanwhile, Sirius continued sniffing the ditto. Turning to the young man she gave a small chuckle. "I'm sorry, he's my newest member, doesn't like to do things he's told."

Arwen saw her smile back and was relieved that his nervousness didn't seem to show, and her laughter relaxed him a bit, "Eliza, could you give Honey some honey?" he asked his Combee who quickly obliged by dropping a glob of it into the jar.
He saw her Pokemon sniffing Replica and was amused at their interest, and Replica, the attention hog, just ate it all up, and quickly transformed into the Electrike, and began to play with it.
Arwen heard her apologize for her Pokemon, "It's no problem, they seem to be having fun." He felt more at ease talking about Pokemon, it was something he could actually relate to. "I'm Arwen," he held out his hand for her to shake, if she wished to.
He looked at her face a bit more closely, now that he could do so and not look creepy. He saw only a hint of gold in her eyes, as they were hidden behind cascades of blonde hair which seemed really silky and was a beautiful color. But she had a beautiful smile, a friendly smile.
Arwen doubted he had met her before, but when he got a chance he should check with Phantasma, just to make sure.

She chuckled, watching as the Ditto transformed to play with Sirius. Sirius, obviously enjoying his new playmate, tackled the Ditto-Elcectrike to the floor, licking him all over. Noticing the extended hand from the young man she know knew as Arwen, her smile disappeared lightly, but she shook it anyway. "I'm, uh, Lexika." she said.
She turned to watch the pokemon more closely. She never attempted friendliness with humans. However, this Arwen did intrigue her to some bit. She felt something about him, something similar, and she shook her head wondering what it could be. From the corner of her eye, she studied him. He was rather handsome, golden hair and eyes that match, and he clearly wasn't lacking in the body department. Not to bulky, but not skin and bones either.

Arwen noticed that Lexika's face fell slightly when he offered his hand. He decided that talking about anything but the Pokemon would be a bad idea. He commented on her Pokemon, "They are really beautiful, their coats are really shiny." Arwen felt stupid just talking about Pokemon and how pretty they were...he wished he could have more to say, but yet he didn't want to talk at all at the same time.
Luckily Eliza buzzed over and landed in his lap, and used Sweet Scent. Eliza didn't much care for the smell of alcohol.

(I'm not sure, but i think you're confusing posts a bit. Ophelia?? xDD) Lexika couldn't help a hardy laugh. "I'm sorry, but you must be just as uncomfortably at small talk as i am." she continued to laugh lightly. Turning back around to face the counter she smiled. "Their coats are actually all natural though. Kishi prides himself in his fur, as does Aedan. It's Sirius i have to worry about." Setting down the glass, which was almost empty. She thought about getting another, then decided against it. Right now she needed to save money. Kishi laid down, snoozing at her feet. Aedan continued glaring from the corner, and by now Sirius was chewing on the Ditto-Electric's fur.
Swiveling the chair, she faced Arwen. Whether she was in a genuinely good mood, or it was the ale taking some affect, she grinned at him. "So, Arwen. Where do you stand in this war of our poor country? If you don't mind m asking. I don't fancy the idea of picking a fight with the wrong side if i piss you off later." she chuckled. Then again, she liked fighting, so chances are she'd do just fine.

(oops! I was busy with a lot of threads, fixed though!)
Arwen was happy about someone being as uncomfortable with small talk as him. He saw Replica getting chewed on, get tickled, and fall out of transformation. He laughed slightly, and as he heard Lexica turn, he turned towards her to listen.
"So, Arwen. Where do you stand in this war of our poor country? If you don't mind m asking. I don't fancy the idea of picking a fight with the wrong side if i piss you off later." she chuckled, Arwen hoped that things would go as well as they were going now.
“I’m not a fan of war, but I think that Megidova is overstepping it’s bounds, an attempt on the life of the King? That’s over the line. I think Terunda is just out for revenge, while Megidova is just attempting to make things worse.” Arwen was a little unsure of being so upfront with his viewpoints on the war, but he thought that Lex was nice, and he went right along and shared them.
He also noticed her looking at her drink and it running empty, “Do you want something? I can buy you a drink if you wish.”

"I couldn't agree more." she said simply. "I mean...the thing humans do to each other. Taking a man's life just for a woman...who didn't even love him either!" she growled, slamming her fist on the counter. Kishi looked up with worried eyes but she pet his head, soothing him once again. "It just pisses me off, what humans do to one another. Whether its for power, revenge, love...any of it. Seem's so foolish to me." Muttering curses to herself she looked at Arwen sheepishly. "Sorry, i have a bit of a temper."
Sirius, completely done out with playing, curled up close in between Lex and Arwen. “Do you want something? I can buy you a drink if you wish.” she looked at him a little incredulously. Perhaps some humans weren't so bad. Shaking her head, she waved her hand. "Oh, no no. It's, uh, fine. I don't need to be wasting my money on this in truth."

Arwen was shocked to see they shared a viewpoint, "I feel the same way! I spent something around ten years trying to become less human and more like Pokemon! I think that's what makes me...different and uncomfortable around humans."
Arwen smiled, "It's ok, a temper is normal." Arwen saw her refuse his offer of a drink, "Well, you seem hungry, at least your Pokemon do, If you want, I can order us something to eat." Arwen didn't like people to go hungry, especially when there was an abundance of food.
He was surprised she was so incredulous. She must have had as many issues with humans as he had before. He still needed to ask Phantasma if he met her before, maybe...maybe he did...things seemed to hit off fairly well, maybe it was just luck, although he didn't have a lot of luck with luck.

She laughed. "I've spent the last ten years capturing and killing humans for profit." she said matter-of-factly. She shut her mouth tightly after that. Every time she mentioned that, people scorned her. Killing her own kind for profit? It wasn't like she always did. Only the true barbarians out for murder...those where the one's she killed. But still, everyone thought she was a monster. But she could live with that.
Hearing his offer for food she wasn't sure whether to laugh or cry. But Sirius made that decision for her, jumping onto Arwen's pant leg with happy yips. "Sirius..." she shook her head. "You know we don't need to beg people you silly mutt." she muttered. Kishi too, gave Sirius a disapproving nod, but he looked at Arwen curiously. In his mind, this Arwen seemed like a good ally, and Kishi stood, smiling a wolf-ish grin.
But Aedan's reaction was the most surprising. Padding from his skulking corner, he sat down in front of Arwen, watching the Combee carefully, but laying his head in his lap. Aedan never showed kindness. To anyone. Including her! She stared at Arwen in astonishment. Was it the prospect of food, or did her pokemon sense something about Arwen that she could not. "I...guess. I can pay you back at a later date. And don't say no. I'll track you down and force the money down your throat if i must." she warned. "But just for them. I'm fine." she said, her gaze clearly lost in thought.

Arwen was happy to feed them, he pointed to a table his Pokémon had taken for their own, “Go ahead and sit over there, I’ll order you guys some food.” Arwen went to the bar and ordered several large platters of meat, and a few of cheese and bread, he then set two platters of meat on the floor for Lexika’s Pokémon, and the rest on the table for everyone else.
“You have no need to repay me, just pay it forward to someone else.” Arwen smiled, Lex seemed to go through a variety of emotions since he met her. But he was really excited to actually meet someone nice that he liked to talk to…this was an interesting storm.

Lexika was quiet as she watched the pokemon eat. She sat, staring at the wall lost in thought. What exactly was going on with her pokemon? Was it the food, the storm maybe? Or was it indeed Arwen? She wanted to hit her head against the desk, but didn't want Arwen to think she was nuts. Though she was. Since when do you care if people think you're nuts? she thought to herself incrementally.
Outside lightening flashed and she could hear the winds pick up. Thunder boomed and she jumped a little, coming out of her daze. Looking at Arwen she felt stupid. "I'm sorry. I'm not sure what's wrong with me right now." she confessed. Great, now she was confessing to a human. And a guy no less! She really wanted to inflict harm to herself, snap out of this strange reality, but she held back. Let's just see how it goes. her mind whispered. Indeed. We would.

He watched Lexika...she seemed lost, "Is everything all right? Do you need me to take you to a doctor? If you don't want to go to a doctor, Curla and I have some medical knowledge." He was genuinely worried, he felt odd as well, he didn't understand why but he did.
Arwen ordered Lexika some water, maybe that would help...maybe it was a headache? He was a bit lost.

"Hmm? Doctor? Oh no! No, no, i'm fine. I'm just a little...i dunno. I don't feel sick though, i assure you." At least not physically. Emotionally was a whole other field. She accepted the water glass thankfully, sipping at it lightly. Perhaps it was the ale that had just gone to her head. Yes, thats all it must be. However, a sick feeling curled into the pit of her stomach.
Kishi, obviously sensing her mood, padded over whining lightly and licking her hand. Smiling, she scratched him behind the ears. "I'm fine boy." she smiled faintly. "So, uh, Arwen. Can i ask you where a cheap Inn might be? My companions and i are in need of a place to stay this evening." And i'm sure as hell not going to my old home.
