Zolanius was spending a day away from the tedious paperwork of being a general in the woods, with its vast trees so tall the branches nearly blocked the sun! All around him was a subtle green tint as the sunlight beamed through the leaves above and onto the path before him. Yes it was but a relaxing stroll. But he was hopeful that perhaps a wild Pokemon or even a wild trainer would appear before him. After all, a soldier always has a small craving for battle.

Ophelia walked with Ary at her side. The two hadn't spent much time with each other and it was well over due. The forest underbrush crunched beneath her feet as they walked under the thick canopy of trees, but through those trees to her right she saw a strange man.

His Zola Senses were tingling! He turned and saw the famous blue orb of a Dragonair glistening in the green light of the forest. And beside it was an equally as attractive young woman. Such luck! Perhaps this one was on her way to the ruins? The pond? Or is simply out for a midday stroll within the wilds of the woods? There would be one way to find out.
"Greetings! Such a fine day for a walk, wouldn't you agree?"
He waved with closed eyes and a smile, hoping to display some Terundan hospitality. No need for unnecessary hostility, especially not here.

Ary sensed the man first, she turned her head and stared at him, watching the man as he greeted them causing Ophelia to look as well. An man older than herself waved at them with a goofy entergentic smile, he greeted them and commented on the weather. He was very odd and Ophelia had no idea why some random man was talking to her, true she is beautiful, but she always thought herself unapprochable due to her quite edge to strangers.
Ophelia paused and gave an awkward wave back, though she looked a bit confused, Ary stayed quiet and watch as if she was never there.

Arwen came out of his house and went out with a basket, hunting for herbs, legumes, mushrooms, and the like. He noticed his stock was running low, and he decided it was time to hunt. His Pokemon followed him, out of their Pokeballs, aiding in the search.
He heard the noise, a yell maybe? He walked in the direction of the noise, it wasn't often that people were in the area.

Well... She wasn't the most outgoing woman in the world, it seems, but at least she acknowledged that he was there. It must've been a strange site, come to think of it. A man dressed almost like nobility and with armor! Perhaps she has a thing against soldiers, given her reaction. It was understandable, as many saw soldiers as heartless dogs for war. Hopefully, she wasn't one of those people.
"I was just out for a stroll, wandering these woods to escape the hustle and bustle of Terunda. I wasn't expecting to see another traveler here, let alone such an image like yourself.~"
He spoke as he slowly closed the gap between them. He might have been turning alittle flirty, but nary did he care. Conversation was so hard to come by these days.

Ophelia figured she would allow herself to talk with him, he seemed harmless enough, but she wouldn't hesitate to kill him if she needed to. He spoke of Teruna, so obviously by the way he was dressed he was a general maybe. She would be careful not to start anything serious, or war could be the answer later on. But then began it flirt and she sort of silently laughed inside, this is gunna be good. "I'm only out here to exercise my pokemon Ary here." She gestured to the shy, quiet Dragonair behind her. "I normally don't travel so close to the other kingdoms."

Arwen stumbled into the area...was that...it was! Ophelia! Arwen ran over, "Hello Ophelia! How are you?" He attacked her in a hug, "How have you been? I haven't seen you in awhile, not since you were at the house!"
He saw the man she had been talking to, "Hello, I don't believe we've met." Arwen held out his hand, "I'm Arwen."

So, she was training her Pokemon... This could be the opportunity he was looking for.
"Ah, I have a couple of Pokemon that could also use a good bit of exercise! Perhaps you would indulge in a Pokemon bat-"
He was interrupted when a young man came into the scene. Apparently, these two know each other! Wonderful! Zolanius took Arwen's hand in stride with a smile.
"Arwen! My name is Zolanius Thyre, it's a pleasure! I can safely assume you are a close friends with this lovely woman, yes?"

Ophelia blushed, Arwen had remembered her! And he hugged her as well! This is truly momentious for the both of them, but now was not the time to be emotional, not in front of stranger. Ary greeted Arwen happliy, glad to see him, and to see her trainer so happy. But before anyone could see her blush she regained her composer and smiled at Arwen. "Yes it has been some time since then. But I guess you forgot about our little scirmish at the pond a few days ago. But that's alright. I'm just glad you remember me."

"Nice to meet you General! And, as far as I know, we have been friends for awhile!" this little inside joke between him and Ophelia was bittersweet.
"I don't recall the battle Ophelia, did we have fun?" He laughed a little, but hoped he would remember. "And how is everyone doing? Why are you out and about in these parts?"

So he recognized the name as the general... Is that good or bad?
"Me, I'm fine. I was just out for a stroll, in the hopes of training my Pokemon! Not like they could get any useful experience in the training hall. I have one new Pokemon and one that is on the verge of evolution! I'm particularly excited for that.~"
In this, he was referring to Stone. Stone was acting weird, in that he was... twitchy. Zolanius did his research, and knows what Stone is about to become. In all honesty, he wasn't sure if this was the best place to have him evolve. The damage to the forest would be catastrophic!

Ophelia smiled at Arwen, "I believe we did! Apart from the huge twister you caused." She laughed a little and turned to the general. "You said something about a battle right? I help you test out you new pokemon with Ary here. If that's alright with you." Ophelia turned to Ary, "Aiiiir!" Called out Ary, clearly excited for a match. Nodding at Ary, Ophelia returned her attention the general awaiting his anwser.

Arwen watched and had an idea, "I could always join in if you like, I think it would be kinda fun if Ophelia and I were to tag team, as a General, you should have higher leveled Pokemon, no?"
Arwen felt a little smug at this logic, although, he hoped he might pull on a sense of Pride in the General...maybe even Hubris...

Two against one? As entertaining as that might be, it was a bit impractical. And while impracticality was always entertaining, he was here for more than a battle, and would rather speed things along.
"I'm sorry, but was really planning on using just one pokemon. It'd be dangerous for the forest if I used my regulars. Plus I would'nt want to humiliate you in front of your lady friend.~"
He winks at them both in one turning measure in order to gain distance whist walking away. after he was a good distance away, he turned on one foot with both arms open, like he was expecting the wind to blow by. In his left hand was a Terunda Ball. General Zolanius challenged you to a battle!
"Now, shall we get this show on the road? I have a schedule to keep! Stiletta!"
He put the ball up to his shoulder then cast it out as though it was a fireball. And out from the ball cam a Pawniard, already in a battle stance.
