The Sawsbuck sizes up its opponent, and is rather intrigued once it sees a ditto turning into it. Once it sees the creature's new horns glowing, however, it knows what to do. Its antlers also glow in the same light, and it charges at the copycat just as the other one starts moving.
The Wild Sawsbuck used Megahorn!
Upon colliding, there'd be an interesting conundrum: the branches of the two sawsbuck antler sets would get caught up in eachother, forcing a sort of grapple between the two.

Arwen saw the incoming attack, "Replica, go for the hit!"
Replica ran faster and harder and rushed towards Sawsbuck, the leaves in it's branches making the air sing with noise as it cut the air.
This is an interesting Pokemon, it's so brave, Arwen thought to himself, then he had an idea. But it would need to wait until the attack finished.
Replica hit the Pokemon and was hit back by the attack. they were injured, but interlocked, Arwen called out, "Replica, drop out of transformation and wrap around the Sawsbuck like rope!"
Replica dropped out of transformation and wrapped itself around Sawsbuck tying the legs together and causing the creature to fall.
Arwen ran up to it, and attempted to calm it, "Calm down Sawsbuck, Calm down...shhh..." Arwen gently touched the sides of Sawsbuck, "I'm not trying to hurt you anymore, I just want to try to talk to you." Arwen was VERY aware of the possibility of being attacked and he wanted to make sure nothing happened, "The only reason you are tied is so you don't hurt me, but if you listen to me for a minute I promise to let you go."

The pokemon wriggles about, its antlers shedding a few leaves as they go against the ground. Clearly it's not in a very comfortable position. After some time, it tires itself out and stops, unable to do much besides listen to whatever the boy had to say, not that it really wanted to hear it. It had things to do!

Arwen saw that it wasn't comfortable, "If I let you stand, can you promise me that you won't run off?"
Arwen was genuinely believing it would run off anyways, but it's a better way to start off a relationship than having it tied down.
He didn't wait for an answer, as Ditto squished back over to Arwen, Arwen helped the creature up, removing a few dead leaves from it's branches. He waited to see if it would stay long enough to talk to him.

It got up, with the help of the human. It looked over in another direction. It only had so much time it could spare for this human. It nodded at him, and stood about to listen.

Arwen started walking in the direction of where the Sawsbuck needed to go, hoping to make this less of a setback than it already was, "I'm attempting to find Pokemon allies to join me and join my family of Pokemon. I was going through the forest, since my home is nearby, and I happened to stumble upon you."
Arwen was trying to express his slight distaste of humanity, maybe aligning somehow with Sawsbuck? "I'm trying to stop the war that is spreading to these parts of the continent, I know that the war hasn't hit the forest much, except for the ruins, but it is coming here soon. I wanted to be sure to recruit some pokemon, and you are a very proud creature, with what I am told, I'm sorry if my knowledge is incorrect and offends you, it isn't intended."
Arwen was worried he was rambling so he hurried to the end of his conversation, "I was wondering if there was a possibility of recruiting you to join my team, if you have a family, they are free to stay at my house, there is more than enough room, and I won't keep you away for long and I will do what I can to have you return to visit if that is the case."
Arwen was unsure how to go about this, he wasn't especially good at negotiations, and he'd never negotiated with Pokemon before. "Basically, would you please join the family or recommend someone who might?"

As Arwen and the Sawsbuck moved along, the pokemon ran ahead of it, and he sound found out why: there were little Deerlings it was still keeping safe. It went over to its children and began comforting them, then looking at Arwen. It spoke in its native tongue to its children. There is a pause as the Deerling look about at eachother and speak amongst themselves.
Then, one of Deerling takes a step forward, and is nudged a bit further ahead by its mother Sawsbuck. It's obviously a bit older-looking than its brethren, as it's a fair bit bigger, and obviously braver. It trots over to Arwen, sniffing him and the ditto. It looks back and forth between Arwen and its mother. The mother says something in its language and nods, followed by the other Deerlings. It says something, and then looks at Arwen with expectant eyes.

Arwen wasn't surprised there were children, but he was surprised that one was nudged towards him, "Hello." He looked to the mother and to the Deerling, "Do you want me to take the Deerling with me? He looked at the Deerling, "Do you want to come with me?"
Arwen wasn't sure what to do at this point, he held out a Pokeball, assuming if it walked to it it was willing to join, "I hope you do, you seem like a useful Pokemon to have along!" He gently touched the Deerling, it was really soft, it was an exciting prosepect!

The Deerling made happy sounds, and entered the ball just fine! You've obtained a Deerling!Male Level 28 Ability: Chlorophyll Personality: The eldest of its litter, it quickly learned to take charge and move forward when others would not. As it's still not quite an adult, it is prone to misjudging situations and getting in over its head.((Once it gets older I may or may not give a new Personality or you can write one up in this manner)) Held Item: none -Take Down -Jump Kick -Faint Attack -Double Kick -Synthesis -Aromatherapy

Arwen thanked the parents and released the Deerling..."I'm going to call you....Perse!" Arwen was happy and gently touched the Deerling, he looked to the Sawsbucks, "Thank you, very much. I will be sure to have him visit back occasionally!" Arwen waited for the Deerling to say it's final goodbyes before setting off for home, he didn't find his Petilil, but he found two GREAT allies.
