Leander Rhone
Age: 19
Gender: male
Appearance: Leander is a bit on the tall side, with about two or three inches more height than most, and skinny, possessing of a build that is unusually agile and lithe for a male. He is very pale, with only the faint shadow of a tan over his exposed skin. In face, he is average, showing the slightly gaunt look of a teenager, with dark blue-green eyes that seem to shift color slightly in different light conditions, appearing sometimes more blue and sometimes more green. His hair is of medium length, ending just above the shoulders, and a bit untamed, being colored a dark reddish brown.
Leander's clothing is simple, consisting of a long-sleeved shirt of off-white leather and simple canvas pants of the same tone. The shirt falls past his waist and is reinforced with chain-mail to provide a decent amount of protection. Archer's gauntlets cover his hands and forearms, with sturdy boots covering the feet. Over all of this goes a sun-bleached, hooded gray-brown traveling cloak which the teen wears at all times. The cloak is most of the reason his skin is so pale. A large hole is cut into it, allowing a quiver to poke through.
Personality: Leander is a being of mental contradiction. He prefers to follow established order, finding that it's less of a hassle to him if he does. At the same time, he will not hesitate to defy any form of restriction that he finds to be unreasonable, violently if needed or if the mood strikes him. Leander still has morals, however, following a loose personal code of conduct. He he can be rather ignorant and sometimes ends up looking like a complete moron because of it. Leander realizes this, and tries to learn from his mistakes, which is one of the core elements of his code.
The teen is rather passive, light-hearted and a bit lazy, doing many things based on convenience. He usually goes his own way, but will try to help people out, so long as it won't be too much of an annoyance for him. Leander is almost always willing to do more than that, however it will require further motivation. This motivation can have a wide range based on mood, from merely catching his interest if the teen is particularly bored or happy, to full monetary compensation if he's in a foul mood. In most circumstances, he'll help for a smaller amount of money and some small trinket or favor(A bit of bread, a drink, help with pitching his tent, etc).
In terms of a D&D type alignment scale, Leander is somewhere between True Neutral and Chaotic Good.
History: Leander was raised in Megidova, with his parents and older brother. His childhood was normal enough, with his father being a hunter and his mother staying home and farming a little. His parents owned two Mightyena, one male and one female. The two pokemon would take switch out between accompanying his father hunting and guarding their home. They would also breed on occasion, producing Poochyena(obviously. No real elegant way for me to write that).
Leander and his brother each received one, to become their pet and companion. Leander quickly grew to love his, whom he named Nox. His father trained him and his brother in the use of the bow, as well as other hunting skills. Leander was better with his dog and his brother was better with a bow.
When he was fourteen, a bad thunderstorm struck. While the house was perfectly safe, they did live close to a large, tall tree. During the night, it was struck by lightning and fell, shaking the foundations of the house. Leander was the first on the scene in the morning, and found a Magnemite, seemingly unconscious. It appeared to have been drawn by the storm. Leander did his best to nurse it back to health, not really knowing how. Soon enough, though, the odd creature was awake and healthy, showing a very curious and child-like personality. It wanted to stay with him, so the teen let it, naming it Quirk.
Two years previously, Leander set off with Quirk and a newly evolved Nox to hunt on his own, not really having a clear objective otherwise. During his roaming, the teen managed to capture a Pidgeotto through an unusual stroke of luck, but has had trouble with the rebellious bird. He's now more or less without a home, technically still living in Megidova with his family.
Country of Residence: Megidova
Allegiance: Largely unaligned, but has a particular preference for Ardhana due to it's neutrality
Rank: Hunter-mercenary
Additional Information: Leander carries a bow and quiver of arrows with him, and is a fairly good shot with it. He also carries a skinning knife at his belt, which he is also of passable proficiency with.
